Manual Roam Steps for Apple/Android

We use a Manual Roam when customers can't connect to the local network while abroad or can't access their network at home.

Steps for Apple Devices:

  1. Settings
  2. Select Mobile Service
  3. Here, you’ll see Network Selection
  4. Tap it, and slide Automatic to off, if it’s on
  5. This will show your manual network selection options
  6. Select a network that’s not your own, leave this for a minute
  7. Exit the menu
  8. Go back to Settings > Mobile Service > Network Selection
  9. Slide Automatic back on and reboot your device.

Steps for Android Devices:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Here you should see an option named Connections, Wireless Networks, or similar
  3. Tap this and select Mobile networks
  4. Choose Network operators
  5. Slide Select automatically to off, if it’s on
  6. This will show your manual network selection options
  7. Select a network that’s not your own, leave this for a minute
  8. Exit the menu
  9. Go back to Network operators using steps 1 – 7
  10. Slide Select automatically back on and reboot your device.
